Starting on May 7th, we are back at The Valley Hive on the first Thursday of each month until October! {Except June, which will be the second Thursday, June 11th}

This is an outdoor event. So please look outside, check the weather, and dress appropriately. If it looks like it’s going to rain (it is possible!), then there is a covered area we can use. But we will postpone if the weather is too much like being back in Scotland.

The Fish & Bear Network – Where Voice Meets Community

We’re bringing back real human connection through spontaneous, unscripted storytelling. No performances, no opinions, no story-selling — just real people sharing real experiences.

The Evening (7:00 PM sharp)

Please arrive on time. There is minimal parking in the lot, and plenty on the street. And the Just Vibes Cafe should be there, so you can get yourself stocked up if you are early.

We keep the storytelling circle small to keep the rounds lively. Late arrivals or early departures are disruptive, so if you can’t commit to the full evening, you’re warmly welcome as a listener.

Part One – We open with a couple of story rounds. The first is almost always “The Story of Your Name” — everyone’s an expert there. Up to 12 people join the storytelling circle; everyone else listens.

Break – Stretch, chat, and find the restroom that is at the rear of the Nursery store.

Part Two – A few more story games to close out the structured portion.

Free Time – Mingle while we tidy up. As a courtesy to the Valley Hive and Nursery, please help us leave the space as we found it.
