It’s very difficult to explain to others what makes Fish & Bear so special. You kinda have to be there. But it silences the lions and gives the mice the chance to roar. Everyone leaves feeling refreshed and invigorated – and all we’ve done is talked among ourselves. It’s rewarding to leave the world behind for a couple of hours, make some new friends, and have a natter

There’s something wonderful about relaxing into the story exercises, knowing you won’t be judged, and letting your creative voice explore forgotten memories. I always leave lighter and with new connections.

I found that we’re not as alone as we think we are. When sitting with people of different ages, genders, and from different parts of the world that we all have similar ideas, things that make us happy or sad, and that most of want the same things from life: love, good health, and a companion. Attending Fish and Bear provides an opportunity to connect with others on the basis of our similarities, hopes and aspirations, and it happens through listening to and sharing our life experiences. I leave feeling refreshed, and like I was a part of something special.

The world is heavy right now. It can load one down to nearly paralyzing anxiety. Being in a lovely, warm, safe space with other HUMANS, who share themselves and listen actively to others has been the soul saving life raft I needed. Mark & Lynn have set up a format and space to just BE a human with other humans- sharing themselves. There’s laughter, intrigue, heartbreak and mending all in one space. Greatest therapy I could imagine. (Plus, there’s banging food.)

Attending these events has been a transformative experience for me. I love how everyone shares their stories in such a supportive environment.

These events are not just about stories; they are about building connections. I always leave feeling inspired and uplifted!

Every event is filled with laughter and warmth. It’s a wonderful way to meet new people and hear incredible stories.

The Fish And Bear Connection events have changed my perspective on storytelling. Listening to others and sharing my own has created bonds I never expected. I highly recommend joining these gatherings!
